Itinerary

Day 1  Home to Taiyuan

There is no schedule in this day , so you can have a good rest and get ready for next day’s trip.

Day 2  Taiyuan to Mt.Wutai

To visit the famous Buddhist Mountain——Mt.Wutai . There are four great Buddhist mountains in China which Mt.Wutai ranked the first.

The palace of emperor Kangxi and Qianlong in Qing Dynasty——Pusading ,Bodhisattva Top .

The largest and oldest temple in Wutai Mountain——Xiantong Temple .

White Pagoda——the landmark building of Mt.Wutai.

The birthplace of Manjusri Bodhisattva in Mt.Wutai——Shuxiang Temple.

You can enjoy a special vegetarian dinner in Wutai Mountain and have a night stay here .

Day 3  Mt.Wutai to Datong

The most efficacious temple in Mt.Wutai —— Wuye Temple. Because there are nearly ten thousand Buddha in the temple, here is also called Ten thousand Buddha Pavilion.

Hanging Temple —— the only unique temple in China where Buddhism, Tao and Confucianism are one and the same. It was built in AD 491, and it is 60 meters from the ground,due to riverbed siltation, it is 58 meters from the ground now.

Yungang Grottoes —— known as the treasure house of Chinese ancient engraving art.

Day 4  Datong to Taiyuan

Going back to Taiyuan to visit the Coal Museum of China. It is the collection center of historical relics, specimens, documents and materials of the national coal industry, also it is the coal industry popular science education institutions, scientific research institutions and publicity and education institutions.

Day 5  Taiyuan to Home

After breakfast, going back to your warm home . Service ends.
