Hangzhou & Suzhou Highlights with Mt Huangshan

Itinerary Design Concept: In this 6-day tour, I will not only bring you to admire the elegant gardens in Suzhou, cruise on the legendary West Lake in Hangzhou, but also enjoy the beautiful scenery of Mt Huangshan (World cultural & natural heritage), and admire the ancient villages - Hongcun and Xidi (UNESCO), which are completely persevered with the authentic and antique flavor of Hui-style architecture.
In addition, you will also gain a green travel service by join us of hiking, cycling, tenting and pick tea-leaves.

Day 1 Home - Huangshan
Meet at the assembled hotel of Huangshan.
Day 2 Huangshan
In the morning, take a car ride to Mount Huangshan (UNESCO), and spend a full day sightseeing inside the scenic area. Take a cable car up to the mountain top and enjoy the spectacular views. Listed as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage Site, Mount Huangshan enjoys a reputation as “Number One Mountain under Heaven”, most notably the famous strangely-shaped pines, absurd stones, cloud sea and hot springs. The scenic area consists of several parts, including Flower-scattering Valley, Lion Peak, Cloud-dispelling Pavilion, and the West Sea Grand Canyon, etc.
In the late afternoon, take the cable car down or hike down the mountain and drive back to the hotel.
Day 3 Huangshan - Hangzhou (by automobile)
Today, take a car ride to Yixian County and visit the Hongcun Ancient Village (UNESCO), which is well-known as a beautiful village looks like “ink-painting”. Enjoy the authentic and antique flavor architecture.
Go ahead to “a Living Ancient Residential Museum” - Xidi Ancient Village (UNESCO).
Then, take a car ride to Hangzhou (about 2.5 hours).
Upon arrival, meet and transfer to the hotel.
Day 4 Hangzhou
Today, you will take a cruise on the picturesque West Lake or rent a bike and cycle around the lake, which is said to be created from a pearl dropped by a phoenix and a dragon, and proclaimed by the Chinese "the landscape composed by a painter".
Then, head to the Lingyin Temple, the biggest Buddhist Temple in the southern China. Take beautiful photos as a souvenir.
After lunch, you can pitch a tent along West Lake, enjoy sunshine and gentle breeze to get away from the hustle and bustle of city. You can also fly a kite or have a pleasant chat with your friend in that peaceful moment.
No tour to Hangzhou is complete without going to the Dragon Well Tea Plantation. The first picked tea leaves of the new harvest were once reserved solely for the Emperor and transported to him via the Grand Canal in ancient China.
Day 5 Hangzhou - Suzhou (by bullet train)
In the morning, transfer to take a Bullet Train to Suzhou (about 1.5 hours), which is known as the "Venice of the East". Suzhou is a 2,500-year-old city renowned the world over for its traditional gardens, ancient canals and silk production. In 1997 Suzhou's classic garden was designated an UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Upon arrival, visit to the Humble Administrator's Garden (UNESCO), the largest of all classical gardens in Suzhou.
Continue to explore the Master of Nets Garden, the smallest and most delicate one of Suzhou gardens.
Then you’ll have an unparalleled experience on the Grand Canal cruise. Get on board and voyage on the longest man-made waterway in the world. The network of picturesque canals both large and small alongside will remind you at times that you are in an oriental water wonderland.
Day 6 Suzhou - Home (by bullet train)
Today, transfer to take a Bullet Train back to your own home (about 40 minutes).
